Description:
COINS OF URUGUAY 1840 – 1971 by Al Almanzar and Dale Seppa. Published by Almanzar’s, San Antonio, 1971, illustrated, 48 pages plus card covers. This book lists all dates and major varieties and gives price evaluations in four grades. All types are illustrated. Special sections are included on the "Montevideo Peso", the 1844 40 Centesimo and the "gold" 5 and 20 Centesimo of 1855. In addition there is a special section on the Uruguayan patterns, essais, and off-me||x||tal coins, which is probably the most complete ever published. Many of these unique rarities are also illustrated. The book will be of use to anyone that collects or deals in Latin American coins. Very Good, used condition. Some may be better than that and I always send out the best one that I have in stock for any new order. All are clean and complete. As many of these books are 30 to 40 years old they often have a hint of fading, age discoloration or shelf wear. Occasionally, there may be a book plate from a previous owner. I do not sell books that are ragged, torn, soiled or missing pages. $15 postpaid in the U.S.
Personal checks, money orders, PayPal or cash accepted. Foreign orders $5.00 additional for postage. I am always interested in buying books and coins of Ecuador and other Latin American nations.
