This was the first Limited Edition fpen launched by Sheaffer to commemorate the first patent of this brand registered in the United States in 1908.
A copy of the original patent document comes in the box engraved in a bronze plaque.
The body is in fine chiselled gold plated bronze and the nib is of 18 ct solid gold.
Lever filler system.
Sheaffer produced 6.000 pens, this one bringing the no. 3510/6000 engraved on the body.
Absolutly new in the original box with oine commemorative ink bottle and papers.
